Love lost chain of broken bodies
Too dismayed to care no longer
Their sun was shoved into a corner
Told to dwell there evermore
Their voodoo heart engorged with rapture
Their sickening thoughts of lost adventures
Small cold fingers linger on the door face
Yearning for the warmth of love
Shuffled back to their dark spot
Fragile and pale girl of 4
Catches a small glimpse of yellow bliss
Landing upon her graying cheek
Her small blue eyes glow with fury
As she is herded back into the shadows
Velvet shroud once again contains her heart
Biding her time until the light comes once more

Wow, that's awesome. Do you just sit down and knock these things out or do you have to work on them for a while? I could think about it for a month and not come close to writing anything like this.
yeah, i wrote it this morning. i have a very dark deviant mind.
muahahahahaaa!!!!
That's pretty darn good, but mine's better:
Once, 3 moles were digging in a garden.
The first mole in the line went dig dig dig dig, "I smell turnips!"
The second mole in the line went dig dig dig dig, "And I smell carrots!"
But the last little mole went dig dig dig dig, "Hey...all I smell is molasses!!!"
skinny- ahahaha
yeah tha's mo' better
Skinny, I be your girls love your bedtime stories.
Great poem girl! I like a gal with a deep dark deviant mind.
macguffin- you know they do :)
corky- umm... thanks i think?
Hell no! My bedtime stories usually involve some dismemberment and hanks and usually end something like, "Please Daddy! Leave the light on!"
Ha, I figured as much. hanks? As in Tom Hanks?
You're really talented!
:)
I can't write poetry to save my life.
skin-i can see that :)
macguffin- ahahaha...funny mo' fo'
pissy- thank you :)
speechless with admiration!
this is my kind of poem.
Hell would I like to get drunk with you someday.
cathy- woohoo!! i am a craaazy drunk! that would be a hoot
can I get drunk with both of you?
There is something therapuetic about writing dark stuff, I've done a few myself. They can be just as good as some of the beautiful la la la poems. Life is full of light and darkness and these things need to be written because they are part of our soul.
I liked it a lot.
Very good blanco.:)
tc
cat- thank you. i just seem to write better about the sorrow, even though i try not to dwell on sad things.
sure, you can come. i usually put on a pretty lively show.
but unfortunatly i remember everything about it. then i just hang my head in shame.
oh my, oh my, i is such a dumbass
:0
I can't remember what I did the night before even when I'm sober.
old age cures all, then it kills you!
